5/8" x 4-1/2" Collared Male Lag Screw Gate Hinge for Wood Gates - Galvanized Steel

The 5/8" x 4 1/2" (Adjustable) Galvanized Gate Hinge Male Lag Screw is used alongside female gate hinges in order to mount, hang, or tighten existing gate installations onto wooden posts and chain-link fences. When installing gates with male lag screws, use at least two lags, and depending on the gate size, you may need three. Installation is quick and easy, requiring only drilling a pilot hole into your post and then tightening into the desired location using a wrench. Additionally, Male Lag Screws are sometimes used to tighten and adjust existing gates that don't fit the desired location because they are adjustable and can change the height or width of the gate installation, allowing you to refine alignment to the perfect position.
