Irish Sliding Rod Gate Latches with Escutcheon Plate
Irish sliding rod gate latches, also known as field gate shoot bolts, provide a secure slide-and-lock closure for wood field gates. A hardened bolt slides through a plate mounted on the gate and locks into the escutcheon post plate on the receiving side, keeping the gate firmly closed against wind load or animal pressure. Each latch includes the post plate for a complete, ready-to-install assembly. Available in hot-dip galvanized steel or powder-coated black finish.
